National health insurance would have solved all of these stupid, stupid issues. It would have let the Bible thumpers return to their crystal cathedrals and preach the gospel of Jebus and allowed the rest of us get on with our lives.

Remember back when Barack Obama was in favor of a public option? Back before he sold us out in a backroom deal with the very people in the health insurance industry he told us were running up costs. Then this strange scenario was played out, where Obama says to the public, Gee, I tried real hard and we almost got it but maybe next time. The same scenario was repeated in the debate over extending the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.

Those dastardly Republican's had Obama by the short hairs, if he didn't give in to the Republicans on the tax cut he couldn't get long term unemployment benefits extended. Only, it wasn't the Republican's who forced the showdown on extending unemployment it was Nebraska Democratic Senator Ben Nelson who cast the deciding vote by voting with the Republican's for the sake of the deficit. Then suddenly, as soon as the tax cuts are extended Nelson has a change of heart and votes with the Democrats.

So the election season approaches, Obama finds himself reviled by the left wing of his own party, An administration which went so far as to castigate what they called "the professional left, they won't be happy until we have a Canadian health care system." Well yeah! An administration with a chief of staff who famously said; "f*ck the UAW!" and yet were are to believe that all is on the up and up.

That John McCain's political suicide was an accidental death and Obama's abrupt turn towards right wing corporate Fascism is actually just the new Progressive politics, sure it is. The economic crash was no accident; it mimicked almost perfectly the crash of the Mexican Peso in 1991. Who managed the bailout for the Mexican's back then? Why it was none other than Goldman Sachs Chairman Hank Paulson, who engineered the project along with Paulson's top protà ©gà © Tim Geithner.

The Mexican president's brother in law was later arrested in Switzerland trying to retrieve one hundred million dollars of the ill gotten loot. The smirking inarticulate Bush is replaced by the smiling, articulate friendly Obama with his pretty family.

It's all just coincidence isn't it? It couldn't be a manipulation of the public by the very people who benefit from owning your government.

"Men are so simple of mind, and so much dominated by their immediate needs, that a deceitful man will always find plenty who are ready to be deceived."
- Niccolo Machiavelli

I who am I? Born at the pinnacle of American prosperity to parents raised during the last great depression. I was the youngest child of the youngest children born almost between the generations and that in fact clouds and obscures who it is that (more...)
