The Clinton email server is that game-changer. However, timing is everything. If the FBI does not conclude its investigation very soon, it could either:
A. Throw the election to Trump if Clinton is charged near or after the convention, or
B. Come too late to change the primary contest in Sanders' favor, leaving Clinton the presumptive nominee.
There is a very real possibility that Donald Trump, with a reputation for sleazy real estate deals and himself a subject of a lawsuit for Trump University by New York's Attorney General, could wind up looking like the most honest person in the race. In such a case, it is the country that would lose.
