The Sabian symbol for the Sun at 4* Scorpio is: A youth carries a lighted candle in a devotional ceremony. This is is symbol of the divine Child, the new aeon or age coming into being. This image shows us that it is the passion and ideals of our youth which carry the light , including our body's passions, since sex is one of Scorpio's concerns. Be devoted to that inner flame in yourself, remembering that there is a spiritual purpose the youth serves, rather than an ego desire.
The Sabian symbol for the Moon at 4* Taurus is: The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. This mystical gold is strangely elusive and yet beautifully concrete. The magic of light and moisture that creates a rainbow manifests as golden riches beyond our wildest dreams. Since manifestation is one of Taurus' gifts, if we imagine (the Moon) what the rainbow is made of, feels like and inspires in us, it will manifest in some form or another. This Taurus Moon is a bridge between heaven and Earth, uniting all beings in love.
Other Astrological happenings
As I mentioned, if you go out in the early morning and look to the East, you'll see Venus, Jupiter and Mars shining in the pre-dawn light. It's a beautiful sight!
Venus and Mars symbolize the Archetypal Feminine and Archetypal Masculine energies of life--Being and Doing, Connection and Separation, Life and Death. They've come together twice since February and their 3 rd and last joining occurs on November 2, 2015 at 24* Virgo. Their union is blessed by Jupiter, who is quite close to them in the sky and in Virgo.
Venus and Mars in Virgo oppose Chiron in Pisces, healing the beliefs that we have to be perfect and live up to someone else's rules. It's time to value who we are, what we desire and how we love and know that what we choose to do with our lives is up to us. Hopefully, we have a strong moral base that helps us live out the best of ourselves.
The Blessing of the God of Spirit shines over this union. What is it a union of? Body and Soul, Spirit and Nature, Self and Other. We are being healed of our fears and insecurities and we're looking for our Story, the story of our purpose here on Earth, a story shaped by Love.
So let your inner movie start rolling and just imagine the life you'd enjoy leading, the love you'd embrace totally and the mission your soul set out to accomplish here on Earth.
We are entering the darkest time of year and we celebrate that darkness and death of the year on October 31st. It's the ancient festival of Samhain, which we celebrate as Halloween or All Hallows' Eve and the Day of the Dead. Let go of what's old and dying in your life, to make room for something new to grow in the new year. Blessed Be!
