The Sabian symbol for the Sun at 15* Capricorn is: In a hospital the children's ward is full of toys. This symbol speaks to us on a few levels. Collectively, we need to look to our children's health--their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. And that includes the health of our physical environment as well as the health of our society. We have a responsibility to our children to create a better future for them. Personally, we need to give the new Light and life within us time to grow and play. Don't let the pressures of life destroy the new growth before it gets a chance to live. This is the time to go deep and stay in the silence.

The Sabian symbol for the Moon at 15* Cancer is: In a sumptuous dining hall guests relax after partaking of a huge banquet. This is an image of fullness or fulfillment on a physical plane. But since Cancer symbolizes the Great Mother and her nurturing, we can also see it as the fulfillment of our desires and needs. If we face an abundance of choices, we don't have to worry that our needs will not be met. The Great Mother says that our true desires are spiritual and that if we listen within to our soul, we will be abundantly fed.

This Full Moon also squares (90*) the lunar nodes in Aries and Libra, forming a grand cross similar to the one we experienced last April. The lunar nodes show us what needs to be released and what needs to be integrated into our lives to bring us wholeness.

The South Node represents what needs to be released or refined. The South Node is in Aries, urging us to release selfishness, impulsiveness and aggression. Aligned with Uranus, we are urged to wake up to our true identity and use this Aries energy to pioneer a new lifestyle and sense of ourselves.

The North Node represents our new spiritual frontier, the new thing we need to bring into our lives. In Libra, we are called to cooperation, partnership and peace. If we refine our Aries identity, we don't have to be afraid to cooperate in partnership with others, because each of us will be free and have an equal say in things.

This grand cross urges us to develop courage and initiative (Aries), a true sense of our own as well as others' needs (Cancer), the ability to cooperate and partner up with others (Libra) and the responsibility and integrity to work for the good of the world (Capricorn). Wherever these points fall in your birth chart will resonant strongly in you now and probably will pick up on what was happening to you last April.

The Sabian symbol for the South Node at 15* Aries is: A Native American weaving a ceremonial blanket. This ceremonial weaving is sacred and is similar to other traditions which speak of 'the robe of glory' which is our true spiritual heritage. Aligned with Uranus, this symbol awakens us to our spiritual fulfillment--another assurance that we will achieve our true desires if they align with the tapestry of our lives.

The Sabian symbol for the North Node at 15* Libra is: Captain of a paddle wheeler steers into open water. This symbol speaks to an opening up, a big view and a sure sense of direction. Paddle wheelers are considered to be the most rugged and dependable boats. This is a sure sign that you can trust your vision, no matter how big it is!

Pluto in Capricorn squares this nodal axis on January 15th and Uranus conjoins the Aries South Node on January 20th. This makes this year's nodes and their lesson extremely important. Humanity is at a crossroads and we have to stand up for the future welfare of the world. This includes a transformation of the archetypal Masculine (Aries) out of its patriarchal patterns of domination and violence and into a partnership relationship with the archetypal Feminine (Libra). It's time for men and women to work together, combining our unique talents and understanding to birth something new.

Both Venus and Mercury move into Aquarius just before this Full Moon. Our minds and hearts can expand to include the whole world now. With Mars also in Aquarius, your desires and visions will probably include others--because we do not live in our own vacuum. We need other people; we need community for our soul's desires to thrive.

New Year's Blessings to you all. May you always walk in the Light!
