The Republican mantra continues to be repeated, painting of Obama in McCain's slanderous terms as 'a job killer', 'a tree hugging liberal',  'not wanting the best for America' and 'preferring defeat so he can win a popular election". The press continues to echo McCain's propaganda and highlights McCain's false charges that Obama is supposed to be (according to their press reports even)  "inexperienced", "unprepared" and to the point of implying Obama is 'wet behind the ears".

It is well known that the mainstream media will not touch McCain's war-hero status, nor will they have anything to do with questioning McCain's constant drumbeat of outright lies, mischaracterizations  and misleading, unfactual statements that are put out by his campaign staff. McCain's downright slanders are releasted regularly in You-Tube commercials and the national press pronouncements just report them as if they were possibly factual, in the process aiding the smearing of Obama's integrity and misstating his policy positions. by the press's refusal to do any investigative reporting or fact checking.

There is a sum total of ZERO  press inquiry about McCain's claims or his own background or position changes, but evey time Obama may do even a slight perceived shift, the media trumpets it for days. .For the most part, the media is bent on covering up John McCain's truthfulness and character problems. The only reason I can adduce to explain this is that the corporations who own the major media outlets seem to want to PREVENT Obama FROM WINNING THE UPCOMING ELECTION. That's why the Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain has created their, as yet ignored-by-the-media, website, so that their message can be gotten out to the public in SPITE of,  and not because of the national press that  refuses to do its job as objective purveyor of information to the general public.

John McCain has no business touting himself as being superior for a commander in chief at all. His incompetence in public life is well documented. He has been an under-achiever from his student days at war college to his more recent involvement in scandals and his losing to George W. Bush in the primaries of 2000.  Since then McCain has shown his proclivity for constant redefining and denial of  what he has recently said if it becomes controversial in any way. And he gets away with it. But he is lightning quick to hold Obama to a double standard and bad-mouths everything Obama does.

Such serial dishonesty and instability of character aided by the status quo media shows that McCain is a LOSER now, and always will be but the national oligarchy wants him to be a winner so they can have another free run at parasitizing the American economy. . Not only is Mccain a loser personally in having betrayed family members, colleagues and people who have helped him, but he is a loser in being a cynical cover-up artist, machiavellian liar and slanderer, Even a dead moron ought to be able to see through it, but we hear constantly how McCain is gaining in popularity in the polls despite the fact that most people in the public know this man is distorting facts and playing fast and dirty in his campaigning. The American public just doesn't care if McCain lies and slanders and they seem to love to let McCain get away with it, over and over and over again.

There has even been testimony that McCain with his Senate advantages had all his own possibly sensitive personal records sealed and has made them classified. Now that really needs to be challenged since he is running as a presidential candidate.

We certainly don't need this man presiding over a new system of  national ID cards, especially in light of the now-institutionalized abuses recently enacted under Bush's warrantless spying program (and indeed in light of all anti-constitutional abuses that have been set in place under Bush's un-American Administration).

There ought to be national unease over John McCain's record and instability of temperament and his sly chameleon-like slimy handling of his political ambitions.(e.g. the man's temper tantrums and expletives toward his adversaries, even to the point of saying the 'f' word to other Senators and calling his wife the 'c' word and scaring his own party colleagues in the Senate).

McCain's practice of harsh, unfair, below-the-belt-slander, his sloganeering, his truth-twisting statements about matters of grave national importance and his recent campaign ads that show his lack of ethics mixed with a personal vindictiveness, disingenuousness and even the gaffes coming from perhaps his sheer age, all should, along with his very questionable 'hero' status as prisoner of war and maverick disqualify this despicable  "Songbird" from being president.

If John McCain has been treacherous in so many  areas of his public and private life, then I fear he'd be treacherous as president too. It tells me that we can't trust dishonest John McCain. People had better wake up and soon because he makes Jane Fonda look like a Sunday School teacher and patriot. She didn't make 30 plus videos for the commies: all she did was sat on a North Vietnamese cannon in a bathing suit.

McCain's own record and falsehoods ought to be a big issue, but strangely they aren't. Could it be because the big corporations see him as their man to continue the Bush status-quo enabling them to continue their stranglehold on America?

What kind of president would he be if like George W. Bush he has a proven record of incompetence? . He finished at the bottom of his war college class, and during his bombing runs he was too incompetent and  stupid to do his bombing correctly, and he lost over 5 bombers during his military career.  There is good evidence also that even many years after the war was over, McCain betrayed and abandoned the Vietnamese peasant who, according to official Vietnamese documents, is proved to have saved McCain's life the day the future Senator was shot down over the city park lake in Hanoi. However,

McCain many years later, even after having been briefly introduced to this peasant hero, on one of McCain's commerce-building trips to Vietnam, never acknowleged this unsungVietnamese hero that saved him from drowning and beating at the hands of a crowd. To add insult to injury, when the old man finally died, unappreciated, the ungrateful John  McCain wouldn't even send a note of condolence to the man's widow.  Even so, Mr. McCain had no problem returning to Vietnam in later years on trade missions, so his memories of his stay there weren't that traumatic. I firmly believe that the 'torture' stories were highly exaggerated and serve as window dressing for the Arizona Senator's public image.  That's why we don't need any more posturing and bullying from this sorry "Songbird".

Perhaps now, McCain is using his experience making propaganda videos for the commies in applying it to twist the truth about Barack Obama. McCain is a  master of deceit and propaganda and he is good at telling lies about whatever subject comes up, right on the spot. The same man who was saved from an angry mob in Hanoi the day he was shot down, has no problem working up his red-meat, Neanderthal Republican base with phony issues, while he demagogues  the country's real needs.  The press refuses to hold this man accountable but rather they allow him to set the national debate topics and spin, and treat Barak Obama as if the Democrat were his personal b-word (you know what they used to call black men in the old days) and  his Step-n-Fetch-It.

If McCain wants Congress to be re-convened to consider his latest red-herring of offshore drilling, he can do it himself. It's not Obama's job to explain himself. McCain has some "splainin'" to do himself. Don't let the hypocrisy of the country in letting this go on bother you. The same public that loves McCain's slander elected George W. Bush twice, knowing Bush was a crook. I guess Republicans have done a little brainwashing over the years themselves.
