So, here is a man that has proven he is not reliable, has threatened his disabled renter, battered his girl friend renter, put three people in the hospital due to drunk driving, had three other arrests for drunk driving, amid many other previous court cases involving his ex wife and other female relationships, and he gets off. Either our court system has hired really stupid prosecutors or they just don’t care who they put in jeopardy by letting mentally ill, addicted men loose on the public to reoffend over and over again.
Having recently broken a vertebra and suffered a heart attack from the stress of living with such people, being forced to move yet again, I wonder just how much more my poor body will be able to endure. I tried to make sure this was going to be a peaceful place to live without the complications of an alcoholic or a drug addict and was assured that this would not happen. Why did he lie to me? He could have been honest and found someone else who wouldn’t have cared. However, he wanted women, not men. Women were easier to control, he thought. Plus, he could have live in maids, cooks, sex partners, etc.
Its not easy trying to get by on the very small income I get from social security. My fate is sealed, unable to afford a decent place to live on my own.
But, I know one thing for sure…I cannot expect any help from the cops in this state and this includes the courts. But, then again, I am a woman, so who cares?
