"Senator Billington is not anybody you might know in real life".Billington has five daughters and I only have four daughters"..and more importantly Billington is dead and I don't think I am" [HERE ].
Besides still being alive and having four daughters instead of five, the dissimilarities between Senator Bob Graham and Senator "John Billington" end there. In all other aspects their bio is virtually identical right down to both keeping a daily log in little pocket spiral notebooks and Senator Bob Graham's granddaughter calling him "Doodle".
Senator Graham in an interview with Paul Jay of "The Real News Network" says he wrote Keys to the Kingdom because it was a way for him to say in fiction what he could not say in non-fiction because of classification restrictions.
Senator Bob Graham said that he was frustrated that his non-fiction book Intelligence Matters was heavily redacted by the C.I.A. To get out the truth he says he turned to fiction:
"Well, I wrote a novel called Keys to the Kingdom out of frustration that much of what I knew had occurred had not been made available to the American people. Every time it (the truth) was suggested, it was immediately classified and rendered out-of-bounds."
He goes on to say:
"So in the novel I suggest some answers, and I don't think they are farfetched or extreme. One of those is that we know that at the end of the first Gulf War, bin Laden was very angry at the royal family for having allowed U.S. troops to essentially occupy a portion of Saudi Arabia."
And Senator Bob Graham's conclusion as to what motivated Saudi Arabia to participate in 9-11:
"What if bin Laden had said to the royal family, if you won't deal forcefully with the Americans, we will do it? But we need your help in terms of being able to assist, support, maintain our operatives who are going to be in the United States. And if you refuse to give us that support, then I'm going to launch civil unrest inside the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and your monarchy will be under the same threat that the former Shah of Iran was when he was toppled from power" [HERE ]
In another interview with Paul Jay, Senator Bob Graham does not pull his punch on his belief that Saudi Arabia was involved in 9-11. He says:
"Saudi Arabia was essentially a co-conspirator in 9/11" [HERE ]
As for the Bush administration, and now the Obama administration, cover up of the Saudi involvement in 9-11? Senator Bob Graham does not pull his punches there either in a January 8, 2015 press conference [HERE ]:
"And let me say, while the 28 pages (redacted from the 9-11 Commission report by the Bush White House) are maybe the most important and the most prominent, they are by no means the only example of where information that is important to understanding the full extent of 9/11 have also been withheld from the American people"...... (There has been) "a pattern of cover-up that for 12 years, has kept the American people from a full understanding, of the most horrific attack against the United States in its history."
What would be the likelihood of the 19 hijackers carrying out 9-11 without a state-sponsored support network?
"Dubious." (ibid)
And what is in the 28 pages redacted from the 9-11 Commission Report?
