Will the decision to acquit Donald Trump in the impeachment hearings affect your decision who to vote for Republicans n the elections this fall?
-Yes. This will lead me to vote against the Republicans and for the Democratic candidates.
-No. I will continue to plan to vote for the Republican candidates.
-I was going to vote Republican, now I am not sure.
-I was always going to vote Democratic and still plan to do so.
So, the question is, why have the mainstream media not done such polls. It's hard to believe that I am the only person to think about providing the Republican senators with this kind of information. I would think that this kind of information would be very newsworthy and that it could affect the decision-making by the Republican senators.
I'm afraid, at this point, polling would be too late. Or maybe not. Maybe over the weekend, pollsters could do some of these polls, especially for those senators who are most vulnerable. But I think that the actions of the Republican senators will affect the entire Republican brand, if they fail to even allow witnesses.
