an exit poll at three machine and
one hand count polling places. Disparities between official totals and
exit poll data, adjusted to account for party affiliation, ranged from 4.2%
to 10.4%
in
congressional races, 4.0% to 11.0% in Senate race, and 6.0% to 15.6% in

Connecticut Audits
Connecticut uses the AccuVote serviced by the same vendor, LHS. It conducts pre-and post- election checks on memory cards and random recounts of ballots.
- Nov. 2008 memory card audits showed more "junk data" than acceptable.(7)
- A coalition of citizens groups reported "Connecticut's November 2008 Post-Election Audits Report Large Differences from Optical Scanner Totals" that varied by as much as 366 votes in one race and by 46% in another.(8)
