Most important point, Obama's top priority in his policies is to make Education affordable. Education is the basis of an economy. And a good economy leads to national security. Education is the greatest asset of a nation. I have been teaching Economics on a volunteer basis for more than 10 years and, I know any child is able to succeed, regardless of background, location, city, state or country of origin, if given a chance to education.
Obama story is a proof of *American Dream for ALL whether United States born citizens, immigrant or not. Remembering Middle class is what built this great Nation called U-N-I-T-E-D states of America.
On Education, I think Jerry Springer and Bill Clinton express best Obama's plan. FYI--Watch Jerry Springer at Clinton University of Arkansas :

To conclude, Obama's impact is not only great but also historical. He will continue to inspire people from all origins, races, walks of life and parties, because ONLY in America his story possible. His victory will continue to influence the rest years to come.

Hello Lydia,
You will find below the testimony of one of my colleagues Elodie, who was captivated by this election and stayed awake all night awaiting this victory. She explains very well how we, Black French people in France felt last week.
You should know that I received many messages from my close friends saying "yes, we can", "Obama the winner" etc"? Here, all the people from West Indies and African origins were happy. Suddenly, the hope rises again for us.
See you soon. Kisses.
During the night of Tuesday to Wednesday no one could sleep, the excitement that all were feeling facing this election, that wasn't even taking place in France, was immeasurable.
People only wanted to hear one name: BARACK OBAMA, the 44th president of the USA. I was waking up every 2 hours to switch on my TV to know where it the situation stands; once reassured that there was a comfortable number of votes between the 2 parties, I went back to sleep.
At 6.00 I got up and was overwhelmed with joy in when I saw Obama on the TV with his family, ready to start his speech. This was even more than joy, this was pride and relief. For the first time of my life, politics made me cry; I was moved. I couldn't believe it; I was saying to myself that this kind of dream was eventually possible. We criticized a lot the USA but they did it, while here in France, we are unfortunately and regretfully far away from this dream
This date should be marked in the history: "November 4, 2008, THE DAY where the United States CHANGED HISTORY AND MADE HISTORY by electing this man at the head of the most powerful State of the world".
This is not simply an election. For all of us, this is a message of hope thanks to this victory, a beautiful victory. Winning 338 electoral votes is just exceptional, a true tidal wave.
And if all is possible, we should just believe it and give ourselves the means to reach it. Therefore, from now on, when I watch " 24H"? on the TV and that I see the Black President, I will say "yes, this is close to reality"?.
