As for Obama's personal "emissaries" to Egypt, it doesn't matter what messengers McCain and Graham bring with them.
That's because ALL sides in Egypt see the Obama administration as interfering into Egyptian affairs, that for 30 years all U.S. led governments supported and armed the hated Hosni Mubarak until he was ousted in February, 2011.
Now with the foolishness of the Obama administration refusing to label last months ouster of Morsi a "coup", it automatically brings under suspicion whatever the Obama administration has said about the events in Egypt since the July 3 rd "coup", i.e. it supported the legitimately elected President Morsi and Egyptian democracy but it also respects the democratically elected president of Egypt being ousted in a military overthrow, (not a coup) and is no longer the president.
That's typical U.S. government double-speak.
