Then of course there was the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 that was averted by diplomacy between President Kennedy and Soviet Premier Khrushchev.
But today where is the diplomacy, particularly from the US? The idiot Trump tweets of his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson "wasting his time" calling for diplomacy with North Korea.
In all this where are the American people? Hello. They should be in the streets calling for no war with North Korea or Iran. Instead they seem oblivious to the volatility facing them and the world. A potential war with North Korea or Iran, an Israeli attack on Lebanon and Hezbollah or what that crazy Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman may be up to provoking a war with Iran.
It feels like a tinder box waiting to explode.
