Dare you move beyond the illusions of the corporate consumer world?   Or, can you move beyond the institutionalized belief systems of the various religions?   If you move beyond those ego powers by diving beneath the surface of the waves in your own mind, you may know yourself and God or Nature as one.   At this point, the basics of how you see yourself in relation to the world will be mirrored in Randy Rucker's (1984) words in his Fourth Dimension, "Mind is everywhere and we have no mind at all."   So, who's in charge, you or God?   I predict that you will laugh hysterically when you experience this.   Just be careful that you are able to get past your ego's thoughts, otherwise you'll mistake a ripple for the Ocean.

Our age could be said to be the age of ignorance.   The Hindus call our time the Kali Yuga, or Dark Ages.   Yes, the Hindus are saying that in our technological savagery, our scientific models, and in our flying to the moon that we are no better off, and indeed may be worse off in our ignorance, than those living in the so-called dark ages of the 12th century.   We feel that we went into a time of enlightenment with the advent of science.   Yet, through science we have lost the ability to connect to the world and to each other.   Telephones, televisions and radios didn't help, did they?   No, we're now more alienated than ever before.   Why?   Two reasons:   (1) science is indoctrinated into the philosophy of rationalism and often doesn't even attend to its own specialists in the most hard core of disciplines, Physics, who have made discoveries that challenge that philosophy and (2) corporations (including many organized religions) and governments want to foster the divide and conquer mentality.   Having an enemy makes you easier to control.

Evidence of this divisional state of mind comes through science where we often have various theoretical positions arguing with one another while in politics we go to war over philosophies of governance that create a curtain over the real reasons for war, arrogance and greed.    It's the same with religion. What we call religion is nothing more than a scattering of institutionalized belief systems wrapped in a philosophy, otherwise identified as a creed or a theology.   Meanwhile, these different religions are so indoctrinated into their beliefs that they can't see the forest for the trees.

All of these are nothing more than hot air arising from conditioned minds.   The reason this conditioning has taken place is because the so-called ruling classes want to control people and the planet. Yes, organized religion truly is the opiate of the masses.   And, in their essence they mirror the divide and conquer ethos of corporations and bankers"who are nothing less than the feudal landowners of the past, reincarnated as financial institutions who own the land that you rent i.e., pay mortgage to.

We do not live in a system of free enterprise.   Nor is what we call religion religious.   If you say religion is Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Pagan and so on, I would say you're full of "BS!"   Indeed, I have more respect for BS than organized religion for at least BS acts as a fertilizer for the growing of crops.   It has a sacred use.

Real BS connects.   It helps to nurture the foods that we and the other animals eat.   So does real religion.   The term religion originates from the French religere, meaning to connect.   Religion of today is not religion.   Indeed, institutionalized religion echoes the battle weary cry of ego and ethnocentric theologists and their mesmerized followers screaming it's our way or the highway.   Or, to put it into the terms of the money hungry zappers of your pocketbooks, "if you don't put money into my grubby little hands via the collection plate and follow what I say, then you're going to get what you deserve".you will be zapped into hell and burned mercilessly in an eternal fire pit."

So that the scientific types don't get self-righteous"it's the same with science.   In many cases, the various theoretical and philosophical orientations of science are preached as gospel with ensuing arguments occurring over the truth of the matter.   Hence, we are in an age of science in which Descartes style of dualism is preached as gospel, even in the face of counter evidence by quantum physics (e.g., Talbot's Holographic Universe).   Science is not about the discovery of Truth.   It's about developing and following a belief system that is called rationalism.   Rationalism breaks into parts, it rations and reduces.   At the same time, it champions looking at the world through "objective eyes."   Objective means objectified, i.e., we turn what in Taoism is called "The Way," i.e., the Process, into a thing.

Yes, I am saying that we are more process than product.    Life is more verb than noun.   A woman is not a woman as in a noun, rather she is womaning.   She is a process operating in conjunction with man, who is manning.   Together they operate as the yin and yang components of all humanity which, in turn, relates to universal processes"such as the Sun's rays entering the soils of Mother Earth and enticing seeds to emerge from the Mother's body.   This is why Tao is referred to as The Way.   The Way is the Process and doesn't need to be believed in.   Why?   Because it is the Way and the Way is the Way whether you agree or disagree!
