C'mon; terrorists are criminals, not some universal conspiracy that requires electronic surveillance of everyone in the world, unnecessary wars, drone attacks, et.al and the whole 9 yards of contrived actions our government has perpetrated that makes the U.S. the greatest threat in the world, along with Israel.
Paradoxically, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, better known as the "BRICS", are not overly exercised with terrorism in their countries yet with more actual terrorist incidents than has occurred in America.
In contrast with America, they are pursuing wide ranging economic policies to the betterment of the people while the U.S. government spends more than a trillion a year on national defense, security and surveillance to the detriment of the people all in the name of fighting terrorism.
Could it be our government could care less about the economic plight of most of its people and instead determined to foist fear to keep them tame and passive?
We need to wake from our somnambulant state, get away from pursuits of mindless distraction and realize the country has been hijacked and usurped by the military/corporate/political axis that reigns over us and threatens the world.
As to General Alexander, this writers fantasy is for us to say, "Go cry wolf in the wilderness of your own paranoid imagination. We see through your trumped up mea culpa explanations, our supposed "misunderstanding' of what you do and we're not buying any of it."
