Article: Medicare Prescription Insurance - for People or for Money?

And I thank you, in advance, for your help to live a pain-free life. At 65 years old, I am much too young to be in so much constant pain. I want to be able to go to work every day and be a productive member of an organization. I would like to play Rock and Roll and Blues drums, at least once a month with my friends, and take long rides with my wife in the country. Currently, any long ride causes my back pain to increase as the miles roll out ahead of us.

In addition to my back problem, I have recurring Kidney and Urinary infections, along with Prostate problems. I also have ulcerative colitis, polyps, and diverticulitis, all of which contribute to the pain. I have had two stents inserted into my lower left coronary artery, due to a blockage, which nearly gave me a bigger heart problem. My Pain Management Doctor has told me that fentanyl-based medicines cause the least stress and damage to my heart, while alleviating my excruciating pain.

I have had all these medicines covered before, but the people running the United Healthcare prescription dispensary refuse to provide me with the pain medicine that my doctor has justified to other services before them, and to them, as well. They simply do not want to incur the expense of helping to relieve my pain, to help me live a near normal life.
