Looks like Obama has come down with a case of creeping Republicanism

It looks like Obama, who is a wealthy man at $400,000 a year, and all of the Republicans in congress who want to end Social Security, and who are also wealthy at $174,000 a year, compared to the average of about $44,000, have become so immersed in their wealth that they have lost any comprehension of what it's like to try to live on a Social Security average of $1,200 a month.

How could Obama have gone so wrong? Is Republicanism contagious? Does being around Republicans cause it to rub off on you? From what Obama is saying, it appears so.

If I could have Obama take away one thing from this article, it would be to have someone who knows explain to him about how pay-as-you-go systems work. The simple lesson is: a pay-as-you-go system can't go broke because it's a pay-as-you-go system.
