If Barack Obama had given a similar speech about his life with his love, Michelle, I would not have doubted one word of what he might have said. If he gave a long speech about their love and life together, Barack would have many in the audience yawning. The day-in, day-out life of a hard-working husband and father would bore many in the audience. The fact is, the Obamas have enjoyed a wonderful marriage - rich with love and grace. Barack Obama is a stand-up guy as a husband and father. Even his most adamant foes can't dispute this fact. I respect and admire Barack Obama a lot, as I do his wife, Michelle, as I am sure many Americans do, as well. And Barack and Michelle's daughters are bright, beautiful, wonderful girls through and through. Ditto for Chelsea, your daughter, Bill. Enough said.
And no Bill, The Real One wasn't chosen Tuesday. Far from it. You shouted and shouted toward the end of your speech Tuesday that "The Real One was chosen" but Bill, this is yet another lie. Sure, your significant other was chosen long before this primary got off the ground. But The Real One is going back to Vermont to continue his Progressive fights as a U.S. Senator.
And no Bill, I will never apologize for being in the "Bernie or Bust" Brigade. Not now, not ever.
