Well, I'm just so grateful that the Ames girls shared their story, and that the story of their friendship is resonating with so many other women. Reading about the Ames girls, women find themselves reflecting on their own bonds with other women. It's been nice to be a conduit to help women get in touch with their friends and their memories. Thanks, Joan, for your interest and your good questions.

For those who want to know more about The Girls from Ames, Jeff hooked me up with two of them. In our upcoming interview, they take us behind the scenes: what it was like to work with Jeff and find themselves the subject of a book. Stay tuned!
