If it is attention they want they are getting it. But, they have come to represent all that is wrong with the Republican Party; the party of no; the party that claims to love America but hates Americans. The Republican Party has co-opted the Christian faith as their own but fails miserably in modeling the behavior of the Christ they claim to follow. They have claimed to be the party of family values and yet its political leaders and religious leaders prove to be just as immoral and corrupt as the people they condemn.
Now these people have a leader, Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina who yelled out "You lie at the President during his speech on health care. He will now be the poster child for rude and bad behavior representing a dysfunctional group of people who are more about defeating the man they see as the enemy, the President, than defeating any particular reform or policy and they are doing it in a no-holds-barred war.
Why?. As my dear friend, Dawn, says" They see him as the slave that has taken over the plantation and they're very afraid that they'll now be treated as the slaves once were. I think she's right.
