This is history in the making, and if we are as lucky as
Einstein predicted about the conduct of wars after the third world war being
fought with sticks and stones, 
it will be obvious to the survivors that someone
acting some place made a really bad chess move, that's a move that is worse
than just being bad. It is a move that nature
will use to checkmate its chief delinquent steward not because the Russians
acted too late, but because the Russians acted at all.
