Clearly, no thinking person who is possessed of the slightest moral respectability would vote for, or in any other fashion support a Republican candidate or position on anything. The Republican daggers have been buried deep in America's back, and the nation's lifeblood is gushing from the wound. The "thinking" person who is possessed of the "slightest moral respectability" will only say to Republican candidates, Republican office holders, and Republican voters, "Sit down, and shut up - You've done your decrepit deeds, and now your time is through."

But can a "thinking" person who is "possessed of the slightest moral respectability" stand by the Democratic Party?
Relative to health care delivery in this country, the message America delivered last November was both loud and unmistakable: "We demand"- not to be confused with "We'd like" - genuine health care reform, and the reform we demand is a 'Single Payer System,' and a "public option" at the very least!"
However, too much flaccid deafness has stricken the Democratic Party, especially Democratic US senators. Single payer is out, and opposing even a "public option" are a bakers' dozen of . . . Well, for lack of a more consummately congruous term, "turncoats." Those straddling - ie. not actually coming into contact with - fidelity to the electorate include Max Baucus (MT - $3,973,485), Ben Nelson (NE - $2,214,715), Mark Pryor (AR), Blanche Lincoln (AR), Mary Landrieu (LA - $1,653,943), Kent Conrad (ND - $2,154,200), Byron Dorgan (ND), Tom Carper (DE), Dianne Feinstein (CA - $1,749,887), Ron Wyden (OR), Evan Bayh (IN - $1,565,088).
