It is not a sign of a defective personality, engaged in dysfunctional and possibly criminal behaviors, if you want privacy. Hopefully we won't allow ourselves to be made to feel dirty and defective for wanting what is a basic human right. But look for the 'Blame the Victim Argument'--You are to blame if you want privacy--to pop up more and more as the American people realize that they have no privacy.
It is a standard device for abusers to blame the victim, and that is just what we are seeing today in America's Technological Police State.
Don't buy into it.
