Informed voters who are willing to stand up for themselves against big money and big-party politics can easily elect an independent governor. Remember Governor Jesse Ventura in Minnesota? Six states have had independent governors, so why not Florida? There are over 3.3 million seniors in Florida, while Rick Scott won with 2.6 million votes. If seniors make up their minds to vote for an independent, that candidate will win handily, without big money.
In most elections, the choice is between the "lesser of two evils". When the Republicans and Democrats run Tweedledee against Tweedledum, there's not much difference. Rick Scott was elected governor by less than 25% of Florida's voters. What kind of democracy is that?
More than anyone, seniors have seen the rise of corruption in America, and Florida. And more than anyone, they have paid the price.
You won't see my commercials on TV, because I do not accept contributions over $25. But "word of mouth" is stronger than advertising, and these days we have the internet and social media. Facts are more powerful than slogans. And your vote counts just as much as a billionaire's.
Please look at my website, www.khavariforgovernor.com, and let's get acquainted. Then spread the word!
