Further, the Department has been remained actively engaged in promoting vaccinations through multiple synchronized-messaging campaigns currently deployed statewide through numerous mediums in several languages. This is crucial to educating Floridians that vaccines are safe, effective and free of charge. These campaigns immediately direct residents to a vaccine locator on the DOH website.

Ongoing campaigns include, but are not limited to:

" Statewide Radio

" Statewide Digital

" Statewide Social Media

" Statewide Billboards

" Statewide Cable and Streaming

Case increases are being seen nationally. Less than 6% of all cases in the last month in Florida have been among vaccinated individuals. The approved COVID-19 vaccines used in the United States are highly effective and protect from the risk of severe illness, while teaching the human body how to fight the virus.
