Fade to black.

Well, almost. So many stadium lights went out it became too dark to continue the game.

But they're a little more considerate in sports than the movies. The grounds crew worked at it for fifteen minutes, until the lights flickered back on and the umps said "play ball."

Wilson threw one more pitch. Grounder to second, flip to first, game over, Giants win!

Now don't that just beat all out of fade to black? Unless you're a Cardinals fan, that is. Then you might have wished it was a movie.
