We are holographic reflections of all. Thus, the Bible says "God made us in Her/His image, male and female created (S)He them." -- Genesis 1:27.
You and universe are not separate.
And we are alienated and powerless why?
Going into our power takes us deeply into troubled water. Think about this in relationship to Martin Luther King as well as Bobby and John F. Kennedy. "Oh," lets not forget Gandhi! The endings of their lives certainly mirror the ending of Jesus' life. Indeed, it's all "myth" in the light of their resurrection: they live on in the minds of all of us with more intense power, truth, and glory than we were able to see during their incarnate time on earth. Some think their ascension is the "myth" (e.g. the lie); I say the ability of greed, arrogance, and fear to destroy them is that "myth"! The truth lies in what is true mythology--mystic experience beyond the limitations of the temporal.
Being empowered is indeed dangerous in the short term, yet essential in the light of the Eternal/Infinite All.
Thus, to empower others, Katy Takes wrote a book about a young girl's quest for Truth titled Each Time She Wakes-Sophia.
The book speaks to 'bottom up' power. No "top-down" rule for her. As Katy states in the book:
"Once you express your will, the Universe will conspire with each and atom to help you reach your destiny" (from Each Time She Wakes-Sophia)."Empowerment. Roll that word over your tongue. Bask in its energy.
