So, overall, we are now beginning to take our place in history as less than the World leader we have always been. Our school drop-out rates are higher, our infant mortality rates are higher, our medically uninsured population is growing and on and on and on.

But we can’t spend money on healthcare, education and new energy sources. Who will pay for it, our children? Or will we let them just inherit a collapsing United States of America?

Why are we at this current crossroad and possible state of collapse? I believe it is due to the affliction that has possessed the conservative side of our government. For years, they have won the argument that made us a nation that only looked at “THE MOMENT”.  My taxes, my wealth, my toys, my big house, my imported car....living for and looking at only “THE MOMENT” and not at the future of our country has cost us dearly.

We now have a new administration that is trying to look out for us now and in the future.

Is that Socialism or just plain common sense?
