Of course, nobody cared yesterday and not that many will care tomorrow. The gut-wrenching loss of our rights will continue to happen, more frequently now however. The truth is that if we allow this march towards a police-state to continue, it will consume us. The time to take desperate measures was yesterday. I am not saying that it is too late to change the course of history though. We can still do it today, but we might not be able to do it tomorrow.
My opinion on losing my civil liberty is this; I would rather face the threat of terrorism by so-called "Muslim radicals" than face the threat of being "disappeared" by my own government. I would like to ask any surviving Germans from the Hitler era if they were American now, would they resist?
