What will happen to the millions of people who run or work for small businesses that have either been totally shut down or which can't survive as people self-isolate and stay home? Legislation is being passed to help some workers, but what about the millions of legal immigrants who are not citizens-- people on green cards?
I've received dozens of emails from companies I've had contact with, informing me how they are handling the Covid-19 virus situation. Mostly, they're talking about using antiseptic wipes to clean things more. I imagine every single business must generate policies and notifications. Are there things that OpEdNews should be doing?
I wonder about the effect of the virus on voting? Louisiana has cancelled its primary, to be done later. Will older voters avoid going out to vote? How will that effect elections? Will Trump postphone the general election. There were fears of that before. With the vast new powers he has under the State of Emergency Stafford Act, I wouldn't put it past him.
I feel that at this time, alternative media are very important. The powers that be will use this situation to exploit opportunities. The MSM will not cover all the information that is needed. How can OEN help? What are you seeing. How do you see this "fluid situation" changing our world, temporarily and permanently?

more detailed bio:
Rob Kall has spent his adult life as an awakener and empowerer-- first in the field of biofeedback, inventing products, developing software and a music recording label, MuPsych, within the company he founded in 1978-- Futurehealth, and founding, organizing and running 3 conferences: Winter Brain, on Neurofeedback and consciousness, Optimal Functioning and Positive Psychology (a pioneer in the field of Positive Psychology, first presenting workshops on it in 1985) and Storycon Summit Meeting on the Art Science and Application of Story-- each the first of their kind. Then, when he found the process of raising people's consciousness and empowering them to take more control of their lives one person at a time was too slow, he founded Opednews.com-- which has been the top search result on Google for the terms liberal news and progressive opinion for several years. Rob began his Bottom-up Radio show, broadcast on WNJC 1360 AM to Metro Philly, also available on iTunes, covering the transition of our culture, business and world from predominantly Top-down (hierarchical, centralized, authoritarian, patriarchal, big) to bottom-up (egalitarian, local, interdependent, grassroots, archetypal feminine and small.) Recent long-term projects include a book, Bottom-up-- The Connection Revolution, (more...)
