The American public appears to feel the same way. A new CBS poll shows 87 percent of Americans are "dissatisfied" with how things are going in Washington. Only eight percent said they were satisfied.
A CNN/Opinion Research poll taken late in September shows 87 percent disapprove of the job Congress is doing.
The bulk of that anger, pollsters found, is directed at Speaker of the House John Boehner and the Republican Party.
