OK, so whom does the Democrat party underground now favor as its number one bench warmer? Competitive people's number-two Bernie? Oh no! They leak the name of Joe Biden (an early fallout in the nomination contest) calculated to see how that flies, and of course because gud ol' Joe can be depended upon as less "radical" in his agenda, i.e. less disruptive of their party's growing support of big-money-contributors and their perverted interests.

Goodness! -- Actually badness! What are we progressives and old-time Democrats to do in the face of all this manipulation? Stick by power-lusting, right-of-center and now "sick" Clinton, with all the erosion in votes that now portends? Shift to gud ol' Joe, whom Trump will chop into mincemeat? Let's hope not! Let's support not, despite strategic leaks from the Dem underground.

Seriously, Bernie's the man, the person who can beat Trump. He'll carry the support he already has, plus pick up most of Clinton's. He will tramp on Trump in the debates. And he will win the election.

.

Come back Bernie! I forgive you for quitting. So will your old supporters. And so will the mass of voters who cannot bear the thought of Trump assuming the role of President -- the most powerful person in the world, he who sleeps with the "red phone" at his bedside.
