What is it going to take in this country for people to finally say e nough!? When I tell my friend Luis the Nazis are just around the corner, he tells me, "Don't worry... we're not there yet...." Yeah, but that is the sort of philosophy and mentality that gets us into trouble, every time. And, if you wait until the situation gets to that degree, it is usually way too late to do anything in defense. Or, at the very least, makes the job of extracting the cancer from the host ten times tougher.
If you wait too long, the cancer can metastasize and then you're just screwed. You get a back pain in February, thinking it's because of something you did when helping a person you know move some stuff from house to house; you think it's a muscle pull. Then, in June, two days before your fifty-third birthday, you find out you have that cancer, and it has grown from your kidneys to your spine. Two months later... you are being laid to rest.
Are we going to schedule ourselves for a physical, or are we going to just take some Tylenol, and just wish it away?
