His statement made it clear that the Clintons get special treatment, that they are above the law, that they are untouchable. Not an endearing quality for the mass of ordinary voters.

And apparently the legal issues continue. Did Hillary lie to Congress? New investigation announced today. Will the State Department issue sanctions against members of her SoS staff (many of whom are now in her campaign)? Being looked into. Will Hillary's security clearance be pulled? That's being threatened.

And, across the pond, we have Tony Blair in the hot seat for the Brits involvement in the Iraq War. Some are calling him a war criminal for bringing his country into a bad situation based on faulty (or manufactured) data.

So, who on this side of the pond voted to go to war with Iraq? Bernie, you did not. Hillary did. Again, her bad judgment, which she has admitted was a mistake and she won't do that again.

The next round of polling will be very telling. Post-FBI non-indictment, if she drops further against Trump, as has been the trend recently, those Super Delegates might want to reconsider their desire to get you out of the way. They might just realize, as millions of us already have, that you are our only hope for getting this country back on track.

And then there's the possibility of fireworks at the Republican convention, the week before the Dems meet. If, by some miracle, the anti-Trump forces pull off a coup, or Trump decides that this has all been fun but enough is enough, and a more reasonable (by Republican standards) candidate is suddenly the nominee, Hillary is toast. Her only compelling argument, even to you yourself, is that she's not Trump. That argument goes away, and so does Hillary as a viable candidate.

I say, Bernie, just hang on. Wait for this all to play out. We WANT a contested convention. We want you, and us, to make history.

Bernie, by endorsing Hillary next week, you will not unite the Democratic Party. Because of your example and tenacity, everyone who has been paying attention has already decided how they will vote in November. Some will vote for Hillary, some for you as a write-in, and lots for Jill Stein in the Green Party. You have trained us to be independent. A whole lot of us will not follow you down the Clinton rabbit hole.

You understand that if you endorse Hillary now, it will be a crushing blow to all of us supporters who want to see you cross that finish line standing up, for us and for America, even if you come in in second place. We thought we could trust you to do the right thing. Endorsing Hillary is not the right thing. Not now, and maybe not ever. Some real, important principles are at stake here.

Hang on, finish what you started. Keep your place in history. You have certainly earned it.

Dare I say it? --- Keep Hope Alive.
