· Second Amendment - Trump his vowed to protect it.
Former Vice-President Joe Biden's promises have been more general than specific, and have frequently changed, so that comparison of promises-made to promises-kept is difficult. As many of these promises have not been implemented, evidence-of-effect can only be suggested by analogy with similar actions in the past or probable outcomes.
 · Mr. Biden promised the Ukraine he would release $1 billion in aid if they fired a prosecutor investigating a Ukrainian company that hired his son, Hunter. When the Ukraine fired the prosecutor, Mr. Biden kept his promise.
 · Second Amendment - Biden's position on gun rights is ambiguous. He denies wanting to repeal the Second Amendment but intends to hold gun manufacturers accountable for acts of violence committed with their products. That is like saying an automobile manufacturer should be liable if someone uses their car to commit vehicular manslaughter.
 · "On day one, I will move to eliminate Trump's tax cuts." Data shows the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 i ncreased jobs, especially in minorities, and promoted growth of the U.S. GDP despite Biden's claim that only the rich gained from the tax cuts.
 · Candidate Biden promises that he will only raise taxes on those making over $400,000 per year. This is false. Analysis of the Biden-Harris plan shows that more than 93 percent of people above the poverty line will see an increased tax bill. Furthermore, regulations are a hidden and regressive tax. Biden's intends to restore the regulatory state. The "poor would suffer most under Mr. Biden's platform."
 · Fracking ban - Biden has been both for it and against it
 · Green new deal (elimination of energy from fossil fuels) - latest Biden position is his "clean energy revolution," a variation of the green new deal. Biden's cost estimate is more than $2 trillion. (The ACA cost only $1.76 trillion.) The Biden plan would eliminate more than 9.8 million jobs in oil and gas industry.
 · Provide racial equality, especially in law enforcement - his implied promise of criminal justice reform legislation was not kept over 47 years in Congress.
 · Will Biden "pack the court"? This refers to adding activist justices to Supreme Court sin order to ensure political dominance of progressive movement in the judiciary. Biden will answer "when election is over," or maybe just before the election.
 · Health care plans are the most detailed of any Biden promises with many similarities to and some differences from Bernie Sanders' Medicare-for-All:
o "Build on the success of ACA" Â - In fact, while ACA reduced uninsured rate, it actually doubled insurance costs and reduced access to care
o Public insurance option  that will inexorably lead to single payer healthcare
o Price controls on both pharmaceuticals and private insurance - leads to shortages
o Eliminate patent protection for new drugs - This will have a damping effect on investments in research and development.
o Offer federal Medicaid coverage to individuals in non-expansion states. This would force expansion of the states even though the Medicaid law contains Section 1801, which is a "Prohibition against any federal interference."
