Today's racism is more subtle and hidden but its there, rabid, ugly, mean-spirited, dangerous and utterly determined to keep and enforce old antebellum Southern-style attitudes by other more sophisticated means. Today's racism is harder to expose, point out and reveal. It masterly covers and cloaks itself in the language of reason and fairness while all the time conspiring and seeking to create a false sense of complacency as it entrenches the principle of "separate and unequal."
