*Jay Bybee was the attorney working for the Bush
White House who co-authored the infamous enhanced-method torture memorandum
that Bush needed to torture prisoners of war in Afghanistan and Iraq in
violation of international law. The guess is that he was rewarded for that service
by lifetime appointment to the Ninth Circuit.
Democratic Representative of New York, Jerold Nadler, a ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, attempted impeachment proceedings against Bybee for that memorandum but was thwarted because it was ruled not illegal to write it. Hopefully this time he will succeed because the conduct of Bybee and Jones, et al, as a violation of mandated oath is a smoking gun!
I will also actively seek disbarment of the gang of five involved in these proceedings! For interested parties look for a wanted-for-treason poster somewhere on the internet.
