And the wild eyed faces shouting down with Gadhafi are dissimilar to the beautifully noble and simpatico faces seen for months in the streets of Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen and Bahrain demonstrating against Western support dictators for jobs and better living conditions.
Gadhafi all along has been begging the UN, EU or US to send investigators, and in one CNN clip Gadhafi (in untranslated Arabic) angrily described atrocities committed by 'thugs'. All Gadhafi's requests for consultations, meetings, investigations have been ignored including those to the UN Secretariat before and after France, U.S. and the UK began air strikes.
Now CNN anchors, embedded within the armed rebels and cheering them on are explaining with irony in their voices, that the Libyan government in reporting deaths from American missile strikes might be doing so as propaganda against the United States.
There are millions of people in the world that don't believe CNN and company, because they remember the networks promoted wars, every war, with tricky reporting, half truths out of context, news selection, news blacked out and deception before, during and after each war since 1946.
And the people especially in the former colonially occupied world know a lot about the Security Council approving war (military action it is called) since that first action resulted in three million dead in Korea.
"It should not be called the Security Council, it should be called the "terror council," Gadhafi, before the UN General Assembly calling for reform of the council -- abolishing the veto power of the five permanent members. " the United States, Britain, China, France and Russia -- treat smaller countries as "second class, despised" "Now, brothers, there is no respect for the United Nations, no regard for the General Assembly."
The last two presidents of the General Assembly elected unanimously have also denounced the present undemocratic UN setup.
The Security Council approves, not only US air strikes but those of its NATO allies. Today:
NATO Airstrike in Afghanistan Kills 7 Civilians, Including 3 Children New York Times 3/27/11, Kabul, Afghanistan -- "A NATO airstrike targeting Taliban fighters Friday accidentally killed seven civilians, including three children,
Officials did not say if any Taliban members were killed" [or if they were the fathers of the dead children or if the women killed were their mothers]

Imagine how many children in Libya will die, are dying, from U.S. and NATO strikes.
Wonder if any families mourning their own killed in air strikes are grateful for those planes in the sky from the white people counties far away over the seas that help their countries selflessly.
And the pilots. Do they imagine the missiles fired have saved as many lives as they have taken?
