I wrote to them this past weekend, Saturday Night Live's NBC website, I sent them an angry email about having Sarah Palin on their show last night, I told them that I was boycotting the show, plus it hasnt been funny in a long time. I know that Tina Fey has been playing her, but they are simply milking it only to help their sagging ratings, meanwhile they have helped keep Palin relevant with their now tired satires.
Joe Biden hasn't been on SNL. They have [not? editor's uncertain] had both Obama and McCain, yet, they are the main candidates, plus Palin. Unlike the others in the campaigns--well except for McCain--they are the ones who are responsible for inciting this pure racism and hatred at her rallies by her speeches smearing Obama, telling the crowd how he 'pals around with terrorists who want to kill Americans' and how he is not like them (black), he's anti-American. CNN released a disturbing video yesterday that was filmed outside the lines to get into the Palin rally and it showed a bunch of pure white people shouting racist slurs against Obama. One guy was proud of a stuffed animal monkey he brought that had an Obama sticker on it. He called it lil' Obama.
This weekend there is house that has a hanging lynched dummy on their lawn tree branch with an Obama sign on it. Out here in the blue state of California, in buttf**k area known to speed freaks in San Bernandino, a local G.O.P. group are passing out 'Obama Well-fare Dollars' that have Obama's face in the center with racial stereotype signifiers of a bucket of chicken, watermelon, ribs around his picture. Palin and McCain are surely responsible for this.
Now the GOP are doing these 'robo'calls in swing states that blatantly call Obama a terrorist, something that Bush used against McCain in 200--that McCain at the time came out publicly in the debate to confront Bush with it. The tactics worked and cost McCain the nomination. I also posted the same email as a comment on their website under the Palin sketch videos, which had a post I have to mention that praised Sarah Palin and called Michelle Obama Planet of the Apes monkey face!
I cannot believe that this is the year 2008 and people are open about their racism and support for the obvious pure white ticket, even though the Republicans have fouled this country up the last eight years. Sarah Palin is turning this country back to the civil rights era. She is in my opinion, very, very dangerous, even touchy feely liberal Ben f**king Affleck said on Bill Maher's show on HBO, that he liked her (Palin) and that he felt she represents a certain part of the electorate that has not been represented! Keith Olberman on MSNBC provided a very telling rebuttal to a McCain supporters' claim after her 'successful' debate performance, that Sarah Palin's 'moxy' and her 'Americana folksy plain-spoken sass' is something that we have never seen before in American politics, Olberman, cut into this with a loud 'Hmm' and said watch this, he played a portion of a debate from 2000 with George W. Bush telling the crowd in his Texan drawl, "I'm sorry if I speak plainly, I'm not from Washington" and then they cut to shots when he did his side-glance smuggish winks to the crowd, the same as Palin just did in 2008! Giving her national power would be disastrous, she is Bush 2.0!
