The lion share of money in politics comes directly from large public corporation or indirectly from their largest stockholders, therefore money in politics is in essence corporate overreach, as is why the U.S. Middle-Class has fallen behind their counterparts in other counties in recent decades.

“There is a reason why these people are putting huge amounts of money into our political system,” Mr. Sanders said. “It is undermining American democracy and it is allowing Congress to represent wealthy campaign contributors and not the working families of this country.”
