We need a different thinking about infrastructure, that accommodates the natural world and puts the long-term needs of ecosystems before the knee-jerk urges to build more roads and bridges. Biden has an opportunity to meld his new infrastructure proposal with his plan to protect a third of America’s lands and waters. This would improve not just infrastructure but also America’s plan for what infrastructure is for — how it can serve people and the planet while improving our children’s futures.

With an eye toward that, here are a few things we wish the president would consider as we move ahead:

  • Use the already built environment before destroying the natural one
  • Create distributed electrical generation instead of huge centralized power stations
  • Abundant Species Act, that ensuress wildlife on land waters and skies are as visible as roads and rails

Could not agree more. When in doubt, let classic aesthetics be the guide and the "natural" will always prevail.

Get rid of useless gadgets that have driven people insane. Learn to utilize what we have rather than destroying more natural resources.

Stop or reduce production of nuclear bombs.

Stop interfering in other countries affairs.

Stop arming countries such as Saudi Arabia that has killed more than one million Yemenis among them many children and elderly.

Learn to eat healthy food without use of weed killers such as Roundup.

If you don't wish refugees to come to your borders, stop bombing and interfering in other countries' affairs.

The military and wars are the number one polluter and killer. There will be no modern infrastructure, M4A, UBI, free education, childcare, eldercare, anti-poverty programs, prison reform, modern transportation, and green revolution until the criminal war and neoliberal empire are ended.

Capitalism is the problem. Cooperation is the solution. China has been building modern infrastructure, developing technology, and lifting people out of poverty. While the US has squander its resources, corrupt oligarchs stolen it, and millions of people have been killed and their lives destroyed.

This is why the U.S. hates the BRI:

Humans and nature can coexist. WARNING: The WEF, the 4th industrial revolution, and eugenics are not the answer.

We need to disseminate a deep and broad understanding of authoritarianism and its consequences.
