US federal officials say the country has purchased 195 million doses of swine flu vaccine for its possible autumn vaccination campaign. A contract has also been made to get 120 million doses of adjuvant, a compound that increases the number of doses of vaccine needed. It will take until March 2010 to vaccinate all the country's 300 million people with two doses each. |
