Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, said Tuesday she will not join with other House Democrats in supporting the impeachment of President Trump.

The push for impeachment has picked up steam in recent days, including from Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., in response to a whistleblower complaint that reportedly alleged Trump pressured the Ukrainian president to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

Showing the insight and intelligence needed in a leader Tulsi once again outclasses those attempting to keep her out.

I respect her perspective, but I think the House's back is up against a wall...if they don't impeach at this point, it's carte blanche for destroying the Constitution. I think James Madison is pretty pissed right now!

Meryl Ann, you don't really believe we have a working, utilized Constitution?

Why, then, are we where we now are?

My solution is to impeach both Trump and Pence, but just before the Senate vote, Pelosi steps down and the House elects Tulsi Gabbard as Speaker of the House.

To impeach Trump, despite the many times impeachment has not been properly tried, despite the various estimates of political implications, is to stand for the Constitution, on principle, and against unchecked presidential power. It is to take advantage of the opportunity to educate the populace on the limits of presidential power and the concept of separation of powers. It is an opportunity to stage a full exposition of Trump's depravity. And it will force Senators to publicly stand for or against the rule of law.

To fail to impeach will make it all the more difficult to ever do anything to restrain a president from any policy, however illegal.

Will it be divisive? Of course. Should we shrink from drawing strict lines between ourselves and those who would support Trump and everything he stands for, and persuade some to cross over the line to our side?

Will the Senate vote against conviction? If so, every Senator who votes no will have to do so publicly, after a full presentation of Trump's crimes.

I agree with her. Been a big enough smoke screen laid down by "Russian Gate" which was only stuff the CIA has been doing since 1953 in Iran, the 911 in Chili in 97, and probably Syria, Libya and Ukraine-which had $5 billion poured in over the years by NGOs (Which am figuring Mission Impossible stuff they will deny any knowledge of.) to over throw the Ukraine Govt so NATO can break another Treaty and move closer to Russia. -[WAS THAT A RUN ON SENTENCE OR WHAT?] My focus on next 2020 year is we have not yet bombed, bombed Iran.
