Top contender Elizabeth Warren, for example, tweeted early Tuesday, 'The House must impeach. It must start today.' A number of commentators pointed out this would likely end in failure as the Democrats double down on impeachment even after Trump agreed to release the full, unredacted transcript of the Ukraine call in question. One progressive journalist and political commentator, Aaron Maté warned, 'They're doubling down on failure: a failure to transform after losing 2016; & a failure to bring Trump down w/ the failed Russiagate conspiracy theory.'

In my run for U.S. Senate against Utah's Orrin Hatch, I posted many progressive ideas and principles that I internalized over the years. I'm leaving that site up indefinitely, since it describes what I believe most members of our species truly (more...)

As usual, Tulsi is a light year or two ahead of the pack. She recognizes that at "this juncture" impeachment would be terribly divisive. Which is indeed correct, as I think this article, sent by a friend, shows.

I see David William Pear has noted the same in another link click here

Watch the short video by Tulsi with FOX that reaches untold millions of Americans. I've noted elsewhere that TG reaches across the spectrum of political parties, indies, and damn near anyone that actually listens to her. One of her main goals is clearly to unite Americans, a nice alternative to the idea that "a house divided cannot stand." (Abe Lincoln, in a speech second only in fame to the Gettysburg address).

Tulsi's added comments should well be noted. Impeachment should be "up to the American people." Imagine that! Leaving things to the American people. I happen to be one of 'em, by birth not choice, but I do kinda like the idea.

Those arguing for impeachment now, which already appears to be off and running, is virtually certain to fail or be dragged out and be hailed as another "witch hunt," which it isn't, but will come across as one to all too many Americans. Which of course leaves us where we are now: Tulsi is the best one by far to send Trump packing, presumably with his golf clubs rather than the "nuclear black box."

We've seen "Russiagate" flop in front of us in slo-mo over about three years. Even if we could do the right thing and get back to the origins of that (as astute readers already have), we simply need someone with a brain, heart, courage, soul, and serious determination to take over the reins. Dare I mention age and looks without sounding politically incorrect?

I note also that impeachment is only meant to serve as a warning or reprimand, which as any damn fool should know means exactly zero to Trump.
