Tulsi Gabbard...Still Going

This MSM piece makes Rep. Tulsi Gabbard sound great, kind of like the energizer bunny.

She continues her bid for the Democratic nomination for president, even as all of the other candidates who are women or people of color have stopped running.

Gabbard pegs her relentless pursuit of the nomination to the belief that our foreign policy and the money we spend on it are directly linked to our domestic policy and the money we spend at home.

She was the first candidate I considered supporting more than a year ago now.  But I moved on to considering Bernie and Liz because I wasn’t sure I understood Tulsi.  This article sure makes her easy to understand.

What do you think about her future as a political candidate?

Tulsi Gabbard is the best equipped candidate for the President/Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America to come around in the past several decades. The only problem is those in power, The Establishment, know it and cannot allow her message to get out as she would do damage, even end their grasp of power over our government (aka the working class people of our nation).

Consider Gabbard a woman, a woman of color, a current Major in the military, and a member of Congress serving on several major committees. In addition she has the intelligence, ability to deal with stress while remaining calm, sound reasoning ability, a strong love of our country, integrity, is honest, cares about people with empathy, and has the tenacity it takes to go after whatever the goal is. She has shown she cannot be controlled by the likes of those in power and puts what is right over what would do her career as was shown in 2016 when, as the co-chair of the DNC, she resigned because she say the corruption being done by the DNC against Bernie Sanders. She was told at the time her political career would be over and the Clinton cabal is doing all they can to make that happen, but Gabbard keeps on coming.

In order to keep her silenced the DNC has changed the rules several times to exclude her from the debate, once again showing the corruption that Tulsi would corral, thus getting us back closer to the Democratic Republic our nation was founded on. It is obvious the Democrat Party does not want that to happen.

I'll keep an eye on her political career. I'm still not sure I get her, but there are folks here who clearly do read her well. Maybe it takes time for some of us to learn.

Tulsi Gabbard is the only candidate on my Washington primary ballot for whom I could possibly vote. Bernie has no guts: he does not stand up to the people overtly screwing him. To me, that response, with a supporting history, disqualifies him for an office where any small part of his agenda would require a fight. The rest are corporate funded war mongers. I am not going to vote for someone on the other side even if they are not quite as far on the other side as the current ring master. Go Tulsi!

Well said. Imagine who the nominee would be if there was fairness in media exposure and a party that gave a crap about integrity, honesty, qualifications, and all the positive things rather than who would play the gravy-train game of pay for play.

Just think of those the media propagandists were pushing, Kamala, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Warren, Biden, and Bloomberg and how pathetic we have become to have the propagandists believe we would even consider such unqualified examples for the highest office in our country. They're still pushing an individual who is well on his way to being institutionalized as his dementia continues to diminish his cognitive functioning.

This is living proof of how dumbed-down we have been made. We are either lazy or our critical thinking has diminished to the point of zero thinking, just following what the media propagandists tell us.

Hi Chuck,

I considered supporting Tulsi last year. I like Bernie. And I voted early for Liz in the Florida Democratic Preference contest, which will be held on March 17.

Based on press reports, the three candidates who I identify as being the most progressive will not win the Democratic nomination. It seems Uncle Joe will carry the banner into the fall against President Trump.

Uncle Joe has already done a good job reassuring moderate, suburban, college-educated Republicans by saying he will veto a Medicare for All bill if it is sent to him as president. This announcement tells me moderate, reasonable Democrats have become a contemporary moderate Republican Party from the time of my youth decades ago.

Moderate Republicans ain't the worst bet to lead the country, in my book. But I want more. It looks like more progressive folk will need to continue learning and educating Democrats who are even slower learners than me.

Suffice to say, I'll keep an eye on Tulsi as she is young and probably has plans to continue pushing her agenda in the next several years or more.

Cheers.
