A major multinational company spotlighted at a White House “Made In America” event on Monday recently laid off thousands of U.S. workers and is under Trump administration investigation over alleged tax-dodging. It’s true that construction and farming equipment manufacturer Caterpillar stores its replacement parts in Peoria, IL, where the company is headquartered, but its parts business is owned by a Swiss subsidiary, and profits derived from that business are not subject to U.S. taxes

The only way to remove Trump from office is to jail him for lying under oath. What's the delay? He's a crook.

Who cares. Everyone dodges taxes when they can.

Don't liberals have anything better than this???

Like liberals are sin free and love to pay taxes! NOT! But we know tax and spend liberals love to spend everyone else's money they steal for a career!

Didn't libs learn anything from the election? Demonizing Trump does not work. He is teflon Don! And it all backfires on the whiners...

Come next election I would vote for him again. Democrats do not have worthy candidates.

What's to think of tax dodgers who deny their tax revenues to military contractors to "protect America", to US troops or police, or to pay even Republican legislators, or to build walls around the country, or for prisons, or for Trump's golf course security, or for veterans' cemeteries, etc.? Is that patriotism?

Who says anything you just said is true? Got proof?

As for the wall he is long overdue for building it. We need to get that done. And then enforce it with more border patrols, would not mind citizen patrols either or militia would probably do a good job too.

We need to beef up ICE and get them doing a lot more.

Making America great again means don't listen to liberals. Don't vote for them either.

Come next election I would vote for him again. Democrats do not have worthy candidates.

The reason I will not vote for democrats is because of democrats. Democats like to think they are perfect and holier than thou and have the only opinions everyone else should have, but the problem with democrats is they know so much that just isn't so.

Sic 'em Trump!

Keep pushing democrats and your party and platform will turn this country into the next Venezuela.

The trick is, for some....how to pay taxes to JUST pay for US military defense (even in Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, etc.), and cops, and ICE, and prisons, and Gitmo, etc, but NOT pay taxes for things like health care for the poor (and everyone), libraries, schools, public broadcasting, clean water and air, safe food, prosecution of Wall St. criminals, public transit, etc. Are tax dodgers justified in using, say, tax-funded streets, bridges and sidewalks?

If "everyone dodges taxes when they can", how the heck do we even have a US Defense System? Those Boeings, Lockheeds, Raytheons, Oil suppliers, and other military contractors aren't patriotically volunteering their services to their beloved country in times of alleged or even actual need. They're selling their services and equipment...at top dollar. No Pay, No U.S. Defense? We, the people, still without a national health system and with crumbling schools, roads and bridges etc, pay them hand over fist via taxes.

Who knows John, without them you might not even have a country. And all those other things you mentioned would be a moot point then wouldn't they?

I sometimes wonder if ethics and community (country/patriotic) spirit are allowed in capitalism. I guess they are, but they are laughed at.
