A CBS poll has found that Almost nine in 10 Democrats approve of the inquiry, and two-thirds strongly approve. Prior to the inquiry, some had wondered if taking up impeachment proceedings might divide a Democratic rank-and-file that has been long concerned with other policies like health care and guns. However, these findings suggest that it this is not the case: most moderate Democrats side with liberal Democrats in supporting impeachment proceedings.

Most Republicans believe that the president's aims in the matter were to protect U.S. interests and stop corruption. Seven in 10 Republicans feel that his dealings with Ukraine are typical of what most past presidents have probably done in dealing with foreign countries.

I think you once told me, Mr Kall, something to the effect that polls are unreliable and that one can always be found to support whatever bias you wish to believe.

Considering MSM is probably 99% liberal, you chose to post a poll conducted by CBS?? :/

Ms Nan: You would support any president as long as they are Republican,

regardless of their character.

It's true that polls can be manipulated. It's done all the time. But there are at least five polls all showing the same results, that Americans now support the investigation and impeachment much more than they did just a week or so ago. You can always check out the Rasmussen polls. They are a joke.

Impeach impeach impeach...but where's call for Removal from Office (along with co-conspirator ally, Pence, et al), Indictments, Arrest, Prosecution...then confiscation of ill-gotten gov't pay, suits for violations of Solemn Oath, (re/ Constitution) with kind consideration given to Trump isolation in a mental facility for secure care?....i.e., no execution, torture, or undue imprisonment.

Isn't mere slap-on-the-wrist impeachment Too Kind? That will not lead to his removal and proper psychiatric care...and how will that protect the nation from his future dictates and whatnot?

Then.....how to provide Necessary Care for Trump supporters?

I can guarantee that if somehow the left succeeds in impeaching and removing our president, we will have a second civil war and it will make the first one seem like a mere skirmish. Millions of us (mostly veterans) have committed to taking arms should this occur. We will not surrender our country without a fight. I have battled against leftist ideology all my life and it's liberty or death

This country has long ago....with your permission apparently... surrendered its own PUBLIC rights to be in charge...allowing our ruling/"representative" officials to go off to uber alles support PRIVATE corporate interests which deceive, and harm and steal from all of us...those interests being Oil, Coal, Nukes, Fracking and Gas, Corporate/private-controlled "public" media, pharms that are permitted to "test" and "approve" their own products (including tobacco pesticides and harmful cig additives galore), corporate-funded "representatives", military profiteers, Big Meat, Big Junk Food, GMOs galore, Big Logging, Pesticide-drenched agriculture, insurers that invest billions in health-damaging industries... and the rest.

No new "Civil War" over that.

Your exactly the type of person I despise. Always finding the solution by

killing another person. If you don't get your way you kill them. You need

to get rid of your IDEOLOGY, which is basically flag worship instead of God

worship.

The Democratic Party, and the rest of the left do not believe in the same America reflected in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Their America is not about the natural liberty, sovereignty, and natural rights of the individual. Instead the left's ideology is that of statism and collectivism, where your rights are determined by the state. Where the pursuit of happiness comes from the benevolence of the state, who takes from one class of citizens and redistributes to another class of citizens for the "collective good".

I am passionate about liberty and the sovereignty of the individual that many of our founding fathers espoused.

"The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule.

In short, it is the greatest absurdity to suppose it in the power of one, or any number of men, at the entering into society, to renounce their essential natural rights, or the means of preserving those rights; when the grand end of civil government, from the very nature of its institution, is for the support, protection, and defence of those very rights; the principal of which, as is before observed, are Life, Liberty, and Property. If men, through fear, fraud, or mistake, should in terms renounce or give up any essential natural right, the eternal law of reason and the grand end of society would absolutely vacate such renunciation. The right to freedom being the gift of God Almighty, it is not in the power of man to alienate this gift and voluntarily become a slave."

Samuel Adams The Natural Rights of the Colonists as Men, The Report of the Committee of Correspondence to the Boston Town Meeting, Nov. 20, 1772

Do you do stand-up comedy too? I mean really, I have to laugh at your threat. Sure, you are echoing Trump's nonsense. But if you do as you say, you will be a terrorist. And your thinking about collective policy is really the dumbest part of conservatism. People like Medicare. They like public roads and police and public education-- all collective parts of government. The collective ideas of Sanders and Warren will help scores of millions of American, including most Trump supporters, and will not take freedom away. They will take military grade weapons like AR-15s away.

The rule of law is so trammeled these days that casual and stupid statements of culpable corruption are being shown to have been historic and routinely engaged in for those who rule the US.

Why is mere slap on wrist impeachment the big thing when what's needed is Trump, and co-conspirator, Pence being removed from office?
