When rules and regulations no longer apply we get to see how disinformation destroys: 'Last month’s spectacular explosions at a large Philadelphia oil refinery complex injured 5 workers, terrorized city residents. But the impact could have been vastly worse had the explosions triggered a release from the refinery’s huge inventory of toxic hydrogen fluoride — up to 420,000 pounds’ worth. If that disaster occurred amid the chaos on June 21 morning, it would have imperiled the lives of  hundreds of thousands of people. If you read this account, you  will  witness and learn HOW beneficial rules are being discarded ...in this case because of industry lobbyists pushing Trump’s EPA to begin the process of scrapping Obama-era environmental rules  -- that finally would have required oil refineries to evaluate using safer technologies.'  Read how it's done... breaking the rules....

"Until now, the Trump administration has been working on undoing Obama administration regulations. It's about to shift to unwinding regulations that have been on the books for a long time. And for those fights, the courts are likely to look closely at the quality of agencies' supporting analyses. Whether an agency is initiating a new rule or undoing an old one, courts expect reasoned explanations and evidence. Often that includes economic analysis of the costs and benefits of agency choices.'The link to the article that explains this is in my 'address file' --because I write about the Rule of Law, and I collect/file hundreds of links to articles that clearly demonstrate that the most essential rules and regulations of our government agencies, are currently in the sights of the power-elite who run the show! Article after article, that has its one day in the news.. and 'poof' is gone. BY removing the rules & regs, the power-elite are waging war on the people --removing everything we the people have gained, and anything that worked.

Their mantra, "down with regulations which hurt "jobs" (aka profits) is what we are seeing in stories like this one.

Born in 1941 I know that despite our flaws, it is the Rule of Law, which to the world, was THE shining beacon that attracted people to this nation. yes, I know the myth and the truth about what the US has done. But this remains true!

Evisceration of the EPA, and all the regulatory agencies is the plan!!!!!! Settlements that are chump change for wealthy corporations after utter disasters (like in 2008 )offer not a shred of accountability for the rules we actually managed to put into our laws--the ones upon which such rules are based!

Lawless rules!

Next comes filling the crucial Federal agencies (that work to protect the people) with sycophants and charlatans is the way to ensure the obliteration of the regulations. Leaving major agencies under-funded and without workers, is how it has begun!

Then, when lobbyists ensure that all legislation is written to protect their bottom line, we the people get Flint, Michigan, and water that is undrinkable, and planes that crash, and houses that crumble, and forests that burn.

While we hear endless talking heads, and watch their entertaining 'news clips' of the terrible Trump and the debating Dems, the power-elite is dismantling the bridges', the infrastructure, the highways and waterways which make commerce and any transportation possible. The Gulf Coast has never recovered from the oil spill that devastated the flora and fauna. You own't hear real conversations from the nattering news merchants -- because the people will never be shown the IMPORTANT news which shines a light on the utter destruction of America through the simple removal the crucial rules! Having used de-regulation to undo so much (i.e Health care, fiduciary Banking, public education, etc.) the powers that run the roost will also leave the National Parks in ruins with little regard for the future.

But what do I know--- I just collect the links to the facts, and thus, I can put it all together, the only way to see the pattern of destruction!

I remember the real news, when the next media circus distracts the people.

..and I share it with you--here at OpEd news!
