The Trump State Department was granted $120 million to fight Russian election meddling, and they haven’t spent a single penny. The answer why is both simple and obvious. Trump and his party benefit from Russian election interference. Trump needs to keep election back door unlocked for Putin because that is the only way that he and his party can stay in power. The failure of the Trump administration to protect America is all about the Republicans finding a new way, and a new partner to help them cheat to win.
