The Rotterdam Philharmonic teamed up with a Dutch healthcare provider to film the finale of Beethoven’s 9th with all the musicians playing their parts by video from their homes.

It’s an extraordinary achievement, overwhelming in the final minutes. (Ed. note: done without rehearsal!)

Fabulous, Al. You really know how to pick them! What an incredible concept. Beethoven himself would appreciate this so much.... You know he wrote the Eroica under extremely trying times, with French artillery firing over his home and shells exploding not far from his home.
