A pair of lonely guards stand in front of the defunct Palestinian airport in Gaza. The equally defunct Palestine Airlines hasn't flown a flight in almost 20 years, but the corrupt Palestinian Authority budgets tens of millions every year for 'airline/airp (Image by FLAME) DetailsDMCA
The Palestinian Authority (PA) has been a hotbed of corruption, financial mismanagement and swindling since its birth in 1993 under Yassir Arafat. The financial plunder and utter dishonesty have always been impediments to Palestinian self-rule and peace with Israel.

Ego of the few always tRump's (no pun intended) the needs of the many. Doesn't matter what race, religion or status; these short term thinkers to line their pockets will reconcile with their KARMA one day. Sad the majority of Palestinians must endure the death/destruction the few are responsible for creating.
I certainly don't condone actions of what apartheid Israel and its Semite IDF force inflict; after witnessing first hand how Palestinian's are treated, when re-entering Israel on a local bus after visiting Bethlehem in 99.
Both sides need to read Shlomo Sands "Invention of the Jewish People," to realize one group converted while others from the same group relocated.

Corruption is not the only shortcoming. Palestinians have changed loyalty and supported criminals such as Saddam Hussein.
There is a statue of Saddam in Palestine. Why? Did not he kill many people including his own?
Yasser Arafat's last wife lives in France with a daughter as if Palestine is not good enough for them but their life style cost $200,000 a month. This money should be used in Palestine.
Few countries have supported Palestinians but received nothing in return. Iran and Kuwait are among those few.
Palestinians have been mistreated and their land taken away. They should not cry about that because invaders and settlers are not going to give their lands back to them. Rule of force has replaced rule of law.
